Meet the Team: Marina!

Marina is from Revere, MA, She came to Kinship as our

high school intern and after design school came on as a

wedding designer. She’s a fur mom to Mr. Otis. He is also a

team member and quite handsome, if we might add. Marina

is an exceptional artist and always so thoughtful with sweet

gifts and special touches. Don't let her sweetness fool you,

she also has the best sense of humor that helps keep us

going on those long days.

Here are some more fun facts about Marina:

How would you describe what you do at Kinship?

I am a Jill of all trades and I am up for any design. I especially like to be challenged. I've probably made of 500 boutonnieres and corsages this season alone, so I'd say I do a lot of personal florals for weddings.

What part of your job is most rewarding?

Working with wonderful creative people and getting to design some stunning events!

What got you into this field?

I have loved flowers all my life. It's fun and creative.

What is a little known fact about you?

I can hand-paint designs on glass. When I am not working with florals, I'm usually crafting projects for friends and family.

What is your coffee drink order?

No coffee for me. My drink of choice is icy cold ginger ale.

What is the last book you read?

I could not even tell you. Maybe an assigned book for high school?

What is the last Netflix show you binged?

Grey's Anatomy. We have Netflix on for background news in the studio. Grey's is something we can all agree on :)

What is your favorite type of flower?

I am a peony girl. Classic and stunning. They have so many petals that each bloom and so interesting and different from the other.
